What is stored today
Two things. Your appearance preference, Mineral or Forest, stored in this browser. And one essential cookie that keeps you signed in, which is sent only to this site and is not readable by script.
The appearance preference is local storage, not a cookie. It never leaves your browser.
The complete storage table
| Name | Type | Purpose | When it is set |
|---|---|---|---|
| Appearance preference | Local storage | Remembers the light or dark theme for this browser. | On a theme change, in this browser only |
| Session identifier | Cookie | Keeps you signed in. Secure, same-site, and unreadable by script. | When you sign in |
| Return path | Session storage | Remembers where you were heading before you signed in. | Between a redirect and the sign-in that follows it |
No advertising storage, no cross-site tracking, no analytics and no social pixels. There is no consent banner, because there is nothing optional to consent to.
Your controls
Clearing site data for this site removes the appearance preference and, in future, the session cookie. Removing the appearance preference does not sign you out; removing the session cookie does sign you out. There is no cookie banner to dismiss, because there is nothing in the banner to agree to.
Your browser also offers per-site controls for cookies and site data. Those remain available and are not overridden by anything here.
If that changes
If non-essential storage is ever introduced, it is described in the table above, with its purpose and its lifetime, before it is set. A new category of storage is never added silently, and a consent choice is never bundled with anything else or pre-selected.
